Terms of Use
Last updated: June 11, 2026
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Browser Data Tools. By accessing or using this website, you agree to use the tools responsibly and to review any output before relying on it in real projects, production systems, reports, or workflows.
1. About Browser Data Tools
Browser Data Tools provides free browser-based developer utilities for formatting, validating, converting, comparing, encoding, decoding, and inspecting structured data. The site includes tools for JSON, CSV, XML, YAML, Base64, JWT, hashes, UUIDs, timestamps, text, and URLs.
The tools are designed for convenience, education, debugging, formatting, and everyday technical work. They are not a replacement for professional review, security review, legal advice, compliance review, or production testing.
2. Browser-based processing
The included tools are designed to process normal tool input locally in your browser using client-side JavaScript and browser APIs. Some tools may use Web Workers to keep the interface responsive while processing data.
Local file loading uses your browser’s File API, and generated downloads may use browser Blob URLs. The site does not require an account or login for the included tools.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for deciding what data you paste into or load into any website, including Browser Data Tools. Even though this site is designed around local browser processing, you should still avoid using highly sensitive data unless your organization allows it.
Do not paste or email private passwords, API keys, production secrets, private tokens, confidential customer records, financial records, medical records, or other sensitive information unless you fully understand the risk and have permission to do so.
4. Review outputs before use
Tool output should be reviewed before you rely on it. Formatting, conversion, validation, decoding, hashing, counting, or comparison results may not cover every edge case, file format variant, browser behavior, invalid input, or production requirement.
You are responsible for testing results in your own environment before using them in production systems, business decisions, automated workflows, security-sensitive systems, or customer-facing applications.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this website to:
- Break laws or violate the rights of others.
- Attempt to damage, overload, attack, or disrupt the website.
- Reverse engineer, abuse, or interfere with site functionality.
- Use automated scraping or requests in a way that harms availability.
- Upload, paste, or transmit malicious content intended to harm others.
- Misrepresent tool output as guaranteed, certified, or professionally reviewed.
6. No account relationship
The included tools do not require an account. Using the website does not create a professional, advisory, legal, security, consulting, or fiduciary relationship between you and Browser Data Tools.
7. No warranty
Browser Data Tools is provided on an “as is†and “as available†basis. We try to keep the tools useful, accurate, fast, and accessible, but we do not guarantee that every tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your specific use case.
We do not guarantee that every output will support every edge case, data format, invalid input, browser version, file type variation, or production requirement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Browser Data Tools is not responsible for losses, damages, errors, outages, corrupted data, missed business opportunities, security incidents, or other issues that may result from using or relying on the website or tool output.
You use the tools at your own discretion and risk.
9. Third-party services
The website may use third-party services for hosting, analytics, performance, security, search indexing, or advertising. These services may process limited technical information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Advertising and sponsorships
Browser Data Tools may display advertising or sponsorship placements in the future to help keep the tools free. Ads should not be placed inside the input editor, output editor, copy button, download button, or main tool workflow.
Advertising content, when shown, may be provided by third-party ad networks or sponsors. Browser Data Tools is not responsible for every claim, product, or external page promoted by third-party advertisements.
11. Intellectual property
The website design, code, written content, page structure, and branding are part of Browser Data Tools unless otherwise stated. You may use the tools for your own work, but you may not copy the website in a way that misrepresents ownership or creates a confusing duplicate service.
12. External links
The website may include links to third-party websites, documentation, or services. External websites are not controlled by Browser Data Tools, and their content, privacy practices, and terms may be different from ours.
13. Changes to the website
We may update, add, remove, rename, or change tools and pages at any time. We may also update interface behavior, content, examples, FAQs, privacy explanations, advertising placements, or technical implementation details.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the terms were last revised. By continuing to use the website after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms.
